iPass Connect - REMOTE Wireless ACCESS
iPass Connect is a service provider that allows Juniper Networks users to access over 100,000 WiFi hot spots globally. The hot spots include 450 airports, 22,00 hotels, Starbucks and McDonald’s.
For all new Juniper laptops, the IPass client is pre-installed when your machine is configured. For users with older computers, the IPass client can be self installed on their Windows or Mac laptop using information provided on this page.
Before You Begin
This page contains the resources necessary to installing and using the iPass remote dial-up client.
IMPORTANT: Before you begin installation or use iPass Connect, you must generate a password. Please go to the remote wireless user name/password generator to be issued a new password.
The following three items address common problems seen when attempting to use iPass and getting an invalid password error:
Username: Do not enter @juniper.net in to your user name field. Your iPass client automatically adds @juniper.net to your user name, and adding your full e-mail address in the user name field will result in an invalid user name login attempt.
Password: Your iPass password is not the same as your Windows or network password. To use iPass, you must use the specially generated password at the user name/password generator linked to above.
Oddysey Access Client: Both Odyssey Access Client and iPass will attempt to reserve WiFi resources on your laptop. Make sure that you have closed Odyssey Access Client before using iPass on the road. If iPass was already launched, close it again, exit Odyssey Access Client, then re-launch iPass.

You must also uninstall the previous dial-up client (GRIC). This can be done in Windows by navigating to your Control Panel, selecting Add/Remove Programs, and removing the "GRIC Mobile Office" or "GoRemote" application from your PC.
